After today’s announcement do fellows borders beleive that this is a prelude to
Renationalisation of the network? I personally hope that this is the first steps to that. What do others think and beleive will happen next?

I want them renationalised but at this juncture this course of action seems sensible with everything else going on.

The taxpayer gives private companies more subsidy now then ever went into supporting a nationalised rail industry.
This allows them to extract wealth from the taxpayer to pay dividends to the rich.
