What a day. Mrs and myself both knocked up a bit, she has broken her knuckle and finger and I've bruised ligaments etc in my arms and both thumbs and a few scuffs etc from the air bag. Car a write off. Was having a few days away in Stamford (nice place) Mrs birthday tomorrow, but I think I am in the dog house with Mrs G

she loved that car.

Hope you and Mrs Gilson are both ok
I have (Sort of fond!) memories of our trip back to Rochester in your old sports car from an Orient home game and the emergency services saving the day!
Take care Andy

Sorry to hear that, glad no one was seriously hurt. The shock from things like that is horrible enough as it is.

That was a nightmare breakdown Nick. My lovely convertible died the night they closed the Thames barrier and mine and about 80 other cars ended up under water.

Dave actually rang me and the Mrs and spoke to us while we were at the hospital. He's been a family friend for many years. A top man is Dave.

My fault I guess. Single lane through roadworks, we are all accelerating, I just glanced down at the speedo, looked up, the guy in front had stopped (he had decided to eat a sandwich in the layby opposite in the middle of the roadworks!) I cldnt stop in time, so thank goodness he wasn't hurt at all but some damage to his rear, my car Written off. As I've gone in the back of a stationary vehicle I have to take the blame I guess. Annoyed with myself, annoyed with him my wife's annoyed with me, which is worse than the guy also being annoyed at me, my insurance are annoyed with me, my wife is annoyed that our insurance premium will rise, I am annoyed that I will be reminded of this everytime she's in the bloody car with me and I accelerate over 30mph......... Apart from that everything's fine. Very sore but fine.
