Maybe the management have noticed my Ling in CM post and are giving him a go
And good to see Judd is still alive and 9th choice

Ling is at risk of becoming History at RB so the formation is being modified so he can play Right of three CBs.

Interesting. Especially considering we play 4-4-3

Ling is playing the holding role.
It’s a pretty decent 2nd team, to be fair.

Excellent. Glad he’s getting a go there. Be interested to see how he does.
Will be keeping up with updates from the ground from the, in absolutely no way affiliated with the club, outlook podcast!

4-4-3. Rush goalie then, or 12 in the team.
Given the lineup, it’s difficult to fathom a system. Having been watching I’m still not sure. But a decent goal by Sam ling.

Ling is doing well in that holding role. Took his goal well. Right place, right time. Maybe it suits him more than RB. Not quite so exposed to pace.

Definately not a 4-3-3 . More Like 4-5-1 JMD and Ruel need to get on the ball further forward.
Lots of OK performances but nothing to set the pulse racing.

He really isn’t. Totally out of his depth in the middle of the park.

First half summary:
They had all the ball but created nowt. We’re just going long ball all the time.
Back 4 looks solid. The new boy isn’t getting close to his man, happening time and time again so must be deliberate. We’re playing 4-1-4-1, this is not a 4-3-3. It’s not pretty to watch but it’s effective. Dayton is the pick of the forward players.

Ling should have made it 2-0, another header from Turley.
