Peed off that having paid for a season ticket, we are expected to pay another tenner to watch this on Orient TV.

I was aware of that, but still peed off. We ain't going to sit in our seats until many matches are played, so give us a "commercial" break, its called keeping customers happy.

As it's a cup match costs need to be shared with FGR, so they will never agree to free streaming

Everything is negotiable in my experience. First serious match of the season. Think of the pitchside advertising they could sell on the backs of a possible 2 or 3000 plus Orient season ticket holders can watch.
I think I'll go the a local beach instead

Season ticket holders have been well ripped , there's no denying that.
Cheaper to watch games by the game rather than by season ticket, where/when has that ever happened before...????

Let's not forget that as part of trying to up sales of season tickets, the club said that by having one it would the ONLY place to watch the streaming. Personally I was just happy to do my bit, but frankly we've been lied to.

Why would you receive a free stream for an away cup game because you have a home league season ticket?

You knew the circumstances when you bought your season ticket. Quit whining.

Didn’t get one, am I allowed to whine ?
Point is most people got their ST in June before any news about individual
match prices were published. As it stands it’s going to cost more to watch Orient by paying up front for a season ticket than it does on a match by match basis if I’m not mistaken?

There’s nothing to whine about.
It was made quite clear that if you bought/renewed a season ticket, you would not be entitled to a refund if games were played without spectators. Instead you would receive a free stream for each home league game as some form of minor compensation but that was it.
Season ticket holders had the chance to buy at reduced rates with the early bird discount. They were also promised that they would have priority access in case of restricted attendances.
That was the offer. You either accepted it or rejected it. Don’t accept it then start whinging.

Personally, don't see this as the club's 'fault', at all.
I knew the risks when I bought my ST. Club have made clear that once supporters are allowed into the ground, ST holders will get priority- I have no doubt they will stand by that.
No doubt, if permitted, LOFC would let fans into the ground straight away- but their hands are tied.
I didn't envisage for one moment I would get to watch streamed away Cup games as part of the 'package'

for the final sentence.
All of this. I didn’t renew. I couldn’t justify the cost when I didn’t expect us to be allowed back in for a while yet. And when that time does come, I fully accept that I’ll be down the pecking order and season ticket holders will have first dibs.

Did you want a stream to be provided for the Plymouth game in the league cup last year?

Anyone else having trouble logging in to the Leyton Orient TV app? Every time I put in my login details it just refreshes and asks me to put the details in again. Been like this for a while now was not too worried but the season is around the corner now and want to make sure I'll be able to buy and watch the streams.

Probably best to login at 2.30 next Saturday
When the app is switched on

You can whine as much as you like. You will anyway whatever the circumstances. As you didn't buy a season ticket the cost benefits (or otherwise) don't affect you so I don't know why you'd waste time whining about something like that.
2 other points :
You don't know what most people did so that claim is simply an unsupported assertion on your part.
It won't cost me more to watch on a match by match basis as I almost certainly won't watch every game (yes, I'm only a part time supporter)

Personally like most i'll be running at a loss (paid £600 for 4 season tickets, but only gonna watch one stream, working out around £27 per game) but taking into account the overall picture, travel, beer, food, etc. I'll be saving a fortune by just watching the streams rather than 'going'. It's also about the circumstances too, I'm happy and able to back the club and have a season card knowing that I may get first dibs to get back into the ground at some point.
Really can't see much to whine about here.
I actually feel the club have a right to have the hump over this. I think the EFL have done us over.
We've dumped the iFollow platform and designed our own platform (sort of), we've got our own app, a bit of a product going on where we can charge what we like, and produce our own content.
But because of Covid I think the EFL have closed ranks a bit and dictated the pricing and that profits should be pooled across all streams for all teams.
The idea of going with our own platform, product and pricing was that it would be more profitable for Orient.
Let's just say Cambridge* (plucked from thin air), film the game on an iPhone with no commentary and turn the stream on 2:59 on a Saturday and off again at the final whistle. Add no extra content throughout and the service keeps dropping out and is terrible. They will now get a profit share of our income?
In the latest Q&A you can tell Nigel had the hump about it that we couldn't set our own prices, format and whatever.
The question is asked at 5 minutes in, Danny has 2 minutes of response and then Nigel jumps in and mentions that the pricing isn't something we would have voted in favour of.
