No Away Fans all Season

It would appear that the Premier league are going to go with no away fans at all this coming season. Even if the restrictions on capacity is increased no away fans will be allowed still.
Its like an American sports game where you generally don't get away fans (due to distance) which dilutes the atmosphere compared to what we experience.
I hope this is only a passing phase rather than an indication of the future.

Quite so but I guess it'll be OK for me to travel 400 hundred miles and attend a game at Orient as a home fan. Not that I'm planning to do so.

You been to see professional sport in the States at all?
Go watch the Patriots, Packers, Spurs or Celtics and tell me there is a ‘diluted atmosphere’.

Not sure how an away fan ban works in London. There are a lot of away fans who live and work in London and if they can’t get in the away end will sit in the home areas.

Even if it is just a % of ST holders?
I cant see anyone other than home ST holders getting in to games this season so they'll have to get their hands on one of them.

Danny mac has already said season ticket holders only and that the away end will be used to accommodate more home fans whilst this ban is in place.

I’ve been to NFL, NHL and NBA games in the states and every one of them was better than 90% of the football games I’ve been to.

Sports fans suffer from a totally different type of Covid than 'holidaygoers'.

Wish this had happened in the 70's. NO AWAY FANS ALL SEASON...then we could have sang to Millwall, Cardiff, Birmingham etc from the West side " You'll Never take the Orient"
