Any murmurs as to whether he will be signing permanently?

Whoever the triallist was and it does appear it was Coulthirst, he just looked a bit similar to what we already have. Would prefer more of a target man, hold up player.

Agreed, offered less of what we’ve already got.

We need an Akinde or similar.

He's got good energy, good movement, and did relatively well for Barnet.
Remember in our promotion season he missed 2/3 absolute sitters in the first half at their ground.
Agree, we need someone different.

No we don't, not if we're playing this 4-3-3 fluid, free-flowing formation.

And what about when we need a different approach like we did over the last two seasons?

He didn't live up to hopes at Posh - my son supports them - ok so they're a league up from us, but based on that experience am far from convinced he'd be anything other than cover.

I'm sure this has already been mentioned, but if we have Sotiriou, Angol, Wilkinson and Johnson on our books, why are we looking at a fifth forward? There's no way Wilkinson should be a regular on the right wing btw.

I agree. Coulthirst is not the type of striker we need . As far as I can remember, he even struggled to get into the Barnet team last season

Coulthirst has played for us before on loan from someone
I think he's a good player and would agree that he was very good against us at Barnet in our promotion year

Going against general opinion On this one because I think he has done well for us, he's strong on the ball and has generally used it quite well. He could easily have three or four goals in his 120 minutes so far. I do agree though that we need a big striker so we can mix it up again but we could do worse than sign Coulthirst.

I know it was only 30 mins, and I know it was only Spurs kids, but he looked awesome on Tuesday night.
Yes he leaves us vulnerable defensively at times, but he’s unplayable when on that sort of form.

Given we’re not short in the support striker/winger roles, and given he’s not an improvement on what we’ve got, it would be a strange decision to bring him in. Unless we thought we could still develop him, I guess.

We dont need Coulthirst, because we have similar/better forwards in the club already

A choice of Coulthirst or Kaziah Sterling back? What would you prefer?
Or neither, we need a target man?

Last season the club spoke highly of Kaziah Sterling so I would prefer him back to see what he can do.
