They paid us a million, and now they've released him on a free. They got a good fee when they sold him to Hull mind.
Shame how the injuries have held him back, he could well have been a regular in the Premier League by now...mybe even been part of the England squad.
One of my all time fav Orient players

Wouldn't drop to our level, which is a shame.

Sorry have I missed something here? I thought Brentford sold him to Hull? Did Hull sell him back to Brentford? If so I must have missed that transfer.

From their forum; "Really disappointed as I think him an excellent wing back. Good luck for the future Moses and sorry it is not with us."
Seems to be the same view from a lot their supporters. They are not happy.
I think he was released by Hull City last summer.

Wow I did miss it, well I never. He played 30 games this season, seems Hull released him as have Brentford.
I'd love to see him back here as a winger, stranger things have happened in football. I also like MacCaughlin or however, you spell his name, I always thought he was a good prospect when he was at Chelsea, wonder what he's like now? Also released on a free.

He was released by Hull last summer. So no fee involved, so we get no sell on percentage.
I wonder what that terrible injury really did to him and the televised games I've seen with him he seems to be OK.

Why would we have got a sell on fee from Hull even if they sold him? We would have only got one when Brentford sold him to Hull and not after that.

Often sell on fees carry through multiple transfers.

We were entitled to a share of the transfer from Brentford to Hull and then a smaller percentage of the transfer from Hull back to Brentford, if I remember correctly. That being said i think he was released by Hull, so we just got the one additional payment in the end.

He's played 35 games for Brentford this season. And once he got in the team he didn't look back.
I don't think that him being released is injury related at all.
Can't quite believe he is still only 25.

He might have to and to prove he's over his injury problems.

I'd take him back here in half a heartbeat.

I'd be delighted but he just played 35 games two leagues above us.

Evidence in this case?

I was talking in general terms. I have no idea in this particular case.

He will be magic for a League 1 side and hopefully will rebuild his career from there.

He was offered a contract by Hull, but chose to return to Brentford.
I think Luton may well have a look. He is going to be better next season than this. Having 2 years out takes time to get back to full fitness and confidence.

He played quite a few games in the Championship last season and as a free agent I would have thought that he will be able to get a good wage in another Championship or League one team.

He’ll get himself fixed up pretty easily, I’d have thought. Doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t love to see him back here, mind. One of the best players we’ve produced in the last few years.

I'd love it, of course, but I reckon there's more chance of his brother coming here. Or me pulling on the shirt.

Yes - sadly wont see him in an Os shirt again. Loved the bloke in his days with us.
Hope he gets a decent move.
