KMT’s State Of The Squad: Right Backs

Let’s get this one out of the way early. Should have named this thread “KMT’s The Absolute F***ing State Of The Right Backs”...
Retained: Myles Judd, Sam Ling
In:
Out: George Marsh (Loan Ended)
First Choice
Sam Ling (probably)
Pros: Good at crossing from deep areas; surprisingly solid in the air; decent throw-in.
Cons: Physically weak; desperately slow; below-average reading of the game.
In reserve
Myles Judd
Pros: Quick with a good engine; plays bigger than his tiny size; competitive.
Cons: Appalling going forward; walking red card candidate; sells himself more often than an Amsterdam prostitute.
In a pinch
Jamie Turley, Craig Clay
Top 7 Bound?
Top 7 in the Conference South, maybe. Since Myles Judd burst on to the scene during the last throes of the Bullshitti era, he seems to have regressed. Injuries could be considered as mitigation, but not being able to run is no excuse for not improving the intelligence of his play. Until he stops recklessly throwing himself into tackles at every opportunity, he will never be worthy of dislodging Daddy’s Special Little Soldier from the starting lineup.
FFS Ling?
FFS Ling, FFS Ling Jnr. and FFS Judd. And come to think of it FFS Turley as well because he’s a headless chicken when he plays right back too. Considering Ling Beta has all the physical and mental attributes of a lettuce leaf and is STILL comfortably the better of our two right backs, we are in dire straits here. I suppose at least he has the brains to tuck in as a third CB when Brophy disappears upfield. Both of them make J-Widdy seem like Cafu. Absolutely the position in most dire need of upgrading.
