World snooker
Anyone been watching it ? I know it's been strange with no spectators but it's still been enthralling for me , at least there will be fans in for the final , Selby looking good against Ronnie at the moment

Personally, I prefer it with no spectators

Re: World snooker
I find the same with the fake chanting and cheering at the footie. It's almost as bad as the real thing. If I can't choose the "natural sound" transmission then I turn the volume down. But I don't find it depressing just very annoying.

At least that annoying silly sausage in the Coventry shirt is nowhere to be seen. No doubt he’ll be there for the final, front and centre ![🙄](//cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/twitter/twemoji@latest/assets/svg/1f644.svg)

Re: World snooker
First time I've watched it for years, albeit only on and off, but have seen some good frames, and as with ComeOnYouOs I kind of like the lack of spectators.

Re: World snooker
Agreed big ron, over 40 points in fouls and it swung one way and then another. Possibly one of the great frames of all time?

Bit harsh, bloke goes to most if not all days and then gets turfed out for the final because they don't like the 'commoners' being down the front....BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 5:18 pm At least that annoying silly sausage in the Coventry shirt is nowhere to be seen. Wonder if the opinion would be different if the bloke was an Orient supporter and wore all our shirts to it.

Exactly. He’s an attention seeker. I don’t care what team it is.kokomO wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 9:23 pmBit harsh, bloke goes to most if not all days and then gets turfed out for the final because they don't like the 'commoners' being down the front....BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 5:18 pm At least that annoying silly sausage in the Coventry shirt is nowhere to be seen. Re: World snooker
After playing as badly as Ive ever seen him play, Ronnie did amazingly well to end the night 10-7 up.
Lets hope hes regrouped for today, because if he doesn't up his game, he's in trouble

Re: World snooker
He always looks beaten! Against Selby the other night he just went 14-16 down playing no better than I would smashing balls around for fun. And then just made three big breaks in next three frames and won. Even last night, Ronnie took the last two frames when given the opportunity. The sign of a great champion is winning when not at your best. Suspect he might win without having to come back this evening. Capable of winning early session 8-2 like he did yesterday.ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Sun Aug 16, 2020 11:20 am After playing as badly as Ive ever seen him play, Ronnie did amazingly well to end the night 10-7 up.
