who remembers when the Valiant, Hotspur and several other comics would include a league ladder
Every week they would then include teams that you could enter in the ladder
The ladder insert was generally in your teams colours with generally capacity and nick name or name of ground
Every season the league ladder anticipation and excitement was unbelievable, it also made me buy the publication for about 10 weeks
I would just put us top every year

I got my first League Ladders with Shoot in 1969.
