Buying a shirt from The Orient
Ordered a shirt from Orient over a week ago.
Not arrived
Just got a email saying the first batch has been sent out.
Next batch either September or November.
How do you find out if yours is in first batch or coming in November?
Just pick up a phone please Orient.
Needless to say they have taken the money.

Would imagine yours would be in the last batch, they are being despatched in the order that the orders were placed.

There can’t be that many of those amongst Orient supporters, so the bigger sizes should arrive soon.KC & sunshine band wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 7:43 pm they are posting slim and medium first because of the postage costs

Re: Buying a shirt from The Orient
The email I received had a link that said what shirts/sizes would be despatched when. Think it was only the second shirts being despatched in November.Bluecap wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 7:29 pm Ordered a shirt from Orient over a week ago.

We have sold more than 4000 shirts. There is a global pandemic that is affecting the supply of just about everything. Give ‘em a break for goodness sake.

My wife bought me a training kit for Father’s Day and forget that she’s ordered it. A package arrived the other day for the kit she ordered! She said sorry, I thought I didn’t order it so didn’t say anything to you!

Re: Buying a shirt from The Orient
I ordered the 3rd Braces style shirt and my son bought the black 2nd one back in June.
Both arrived a week ago and were great.
Having said that I’m still waiting for Exeter match tickets to be refunded since April.

Club have said that they've had over 4000 orders and fully suspect that so not to overstock they keep the batches low. Might also be that due to the virus, New Balance are struggling to get orders out as quick as they normally do. Frustrating as it is, need to bear with them under the circumstances.

Under the circumstances? The shirts were launched under these circumstances.Fellowo wrote: ↑Fri Aug 07, 2020 8:18 am Club have said that they've had over 4000 orders and fully suspect that so not to overstock they keep the batches low. If I order a shirt in pre-season I expect it to receive it before November.
One of the reasons that new shirts are launched so early is so that people can receive them and wear them in the summer months. Not much call for short sleeves in winter.

Re: Buying a shirt from The Orient
It's a shirt for a whole season rather than just a few months, but you're right about the fact that people will get less use out of them as the temperatures drop. That's something for people to take into consideration before ordering though.Ornchurch wrote: ↑Fri Aug 07, 2020 11:49 amUnder the circumstances?
