Get the beers in
Looks like an option to get people back in grounds and reduce congestion in concourses is to allow supporters to drink in their seats again.
Another example of money over safety or about time supporters were treated as adults?

Re: Get the beers in
Me neither BR , As far as I'm concerned ive written the season off as an event that I can attend sadly. Not got a season ticket this season so no chance getting to home games even if they do let in a % of the crowd. It's also obvious that away supporters will be banned until a vaccine is found and grounds open up again to 100% capacity. Hope we're still in the league by the time we all get back.

From the point of view of being able to attend any games next season yes, for the reasons I've mentioned in my previous post.Disoriented wrote: βTue Aug 04, 2020 10:27 amYou have written next season off?kokomO wrote: βTue Aug 04, 2020 9:48 amMe neither BR , As far as I'm concerned ive written the season off as an event that I can attend sadly. Re: Get the beers in
I thought that the Government were planning for a limited number of fans to return to sports stadiums from 1st October ??
Has this changed ??
If people can enter enclosed areas like supermarkets in unlimited numbers then I would have thought that spaced out seating in the open with fans in masks would be ok.

Yes there are plans but only 33% of the stadium (& no away supporters I would imagine) we have more than 33% of our capacity as season tickets.Cheshunto wrote: βTue Aug 04, 2020 12:44 pm I thought that the Government were planning for a limited number of fans to return to sports stadiums from 1st October ??

Sadly some adults often behave like kids, the venomous language at times is dreadful. I endured this taking my young children over there For many years and often had to front certain idiots over their behaviour.Ornchurch wrote: βTue Aug 04, 2020 9:36 am Looks like an option to get people back in grounds and reduce congestion in concourses is to allow supporters to drink in their seats again.

This. Most people will be fine but you'll get the odd coked up knobhead throwing their beer aroundOiram wrote: βTue Aug 04, 2020 3:35 pmSadly some adults often behave like kids, the venomous language at times is dreadful. Re: Get the beers in
Before about 5-6 years ago I could count on one hand the times Iβd seen Orient sober.
In fact in the early to mid β00βs it was deemed a necessity!
