Aeroflot Plane Accident in Russia

Post by John BercOw »

Seen a good few media clips of this tragic accident, can't help thinking the response time of the fire crew to the plane was shocking - even though the fire didn't start until it bounced on landing, surly a plane in distress should have engines flanking it as it lands, ready to crack on if needed?

Awful incident.

Yeah, I thought that looked a slow response. But doubt they could have done much if they’d been right there, though.
