Windies win toss and put England in,
Sibley already back in the pavillion after falling in the first over.
England have weakened their batting line up by including extra bowler to try and win the match. Stokes is batting at 4 but unlikely to bowl due to injury.
Root at 3
West Indies include 6ft 6 and 22 stone spin bowler Cornwall for the first time this series, he'll be an interesting watch.

England captain run out for 17 after getting himself in.
Eng 66-2 at lunch on day 1. Burns 33, Stokes 7
With Pope at 5 England will need a long knock from Burns, can’t keep relying on Stokes.

Burns out in the 50's - great catch in the slips by the big lad.

Good day for England as Pope (91 no) & Buttler (56 no) steer the 3 lions to 258-4 at the close on day 1.

We are going to lose two days (Saturday and Monday) to rain. Need as close to 400 on the board as possible and leave 5 sessions to bowl out the Windies twice if we can. Pitch is already showing signs that it will turn more.
Faint chance, but still a chance.

Think Sunday wasn't looking too clever as well.
Edit : play has started

267 for 6
300 might be a stretch
400 is a long way off.

Undoing all yesterday’s hard work decision to play one less batsman could backfire.
Buttler now out

Can’t really say if 300 is a decent score until we have seen the Windies bat, but from 264-4 it’s awful.

Probably no bad thing to be out quickly with all the bad weather due. 300 first up might be our best chance of winning.

Indeed. Wouldnt have minded us having 20mins or so against them before lunch. With that and the weather it could have been a chance to gain a slight edge by constantly disrupting their rhythm and concentration if they keep having relatively short batting spells before going off.

West Indies 137-6 at the close on day 2.
Now, if only the rain will hold off we could get a result.
England surely HAVE to enforce the follow on this time if they get the opportunity. None of this fannying about batting again , got to go for the kill.

Windies avoid follow on - 197 all out.
England lead by 172.
