They will easily dispose of Brentford but then lose to Fulham

Championship easily the most exciting and unpredictable league in the world.

Loads of amazing outcomes after today. Luton and Barnsley staying up, Wigan probably down, Forest absolutely bottling it and throwing a 6 goal advantage away, Brentford needing 2 points from 2 games and getting 0.

Fulham are my pick for the playoffs

Sheffield Wednesday looking more likely to be relegated &
that means Charlton would be staying up.

Seasons a long way from being finished.

Cardiff nailed on for the playoffs now. Brentford and Fulham won’t be able to raise themselves in such short time. Brentford look shot, 7 wins in a row and then lose to Stoke and Barnsley....

EFL confurm deduction of points will happen after the Fulham game on Wednesday.
They may say that, but they also say it is subject to an appeal.

Its not subject to appeal ,
Wigan are appealing the decision to deduct the points.
The EFL have deducted the points that is confirmed .
Wigan are trying to wriggle out of that.

If it is subject to appeal it means awaiting further
evidence to postpone a decision .

The article you linked to says "The EFL say, however, that the deduction is still subject to an appeal."

Maybe take just one day off from being an argumentative tw*t.

Who is being a tw*t .
My club didnt cheat & need defending.

I hear people spouting rubbish about Wigan's Fans .

Well what about Barnsleys fans .
They dont deserve to be punished .
There club followed the rules & could easily
Have done what Derby or Wednesday did
to improve there club , but they didnt .

I dont see the need for an appeal .
Id relegate them
along with derby & sheffield wednesday.

Wigan in 23rd place

If Sheffield Wednesdays upto 21 point deduction is
approved Charlton will be safe as well .

Just to drive it home a little more .

"Wigan Athletic have been relegated from the Championship after being held to a draw by a Fulham side who would still have missed out on automatic promotion with a victory.

The Latics, whose 12-point deduction for going into administration means they finish in the bottom three, knew they needed a win and for other results to go their way to avoid the drop.

Their hopes now rest on an appeal against the sanction, while Fulham will have to settle for a play-off place after remaining below both Brentford and West Bromwich Albion, who ended as runners-up.

Wigan's hopes of staying in the division looked good when Kieffer Moore headed them ahead from close range in the first half.

Neeskens Kebano's sublime free-kick drew Fulham level, but Wigan spurned plenty of opportunities to secure the win that would have saved them from dropping into League One".

Was an astonishing final day for sure. Swans will go into the play-offs on a high.

Just reading that on July 2nd the bottom five in the Championship were Luton, Barnsley, Stoke, Huddersfield & Middlesbrough - yet all avoided relegation (subject to appeal!), which is quite remarkable.

Shame there are no spectators. Good friend supports Swansea and I go to the London games with him so would have had a trip to Griffin Park for the last game and might have got a trip to Wembley. Still I suppose it’s good for my liver...

Yeah, definitely want Brentford go up out of those four but depends how they recover from blowing automatic promotion when it was in their hands. Also the fact they lost to lowly teams when promotion was on the line isn't a good sign. Fingers crossed they got over this massive wobble.

I'm sure Matt R***r would be quick to congratulate them too.
