Yep, the Jonah effect. Khushi's very disciplined at the moment. Need a big innings from him today.

All forgiven - Khushi has played a superb innings, and now that Browne has settled in it's tea and Durham haven't taken a wicket in that session. We've also avoided the follow on. Tomorrow looks like a washout. Looking like a draw, unless Durham decide to give us something to chase and win on Monday.

Another decent day, shame about the forecast. Plus looking good for Surrey unfortunately.

I hope they had the covers on overnight in Taunton. Notwithstanding that, it looks like there won't be a full days play with the weather forecast as it is. But the when play does start, the ball could be moving around a fair bit for the Essex pace trio.

And Surrey aren't playing.

It's got more batsman friendly in the later afternoon.

This defeat and only 3 bonus points could cost us very dearly

37 wickets in 2 days - wasn't that long ago Somerset were preparing spinner's wickets. Our second innings was rather poor. Yes it was a bowlers' wicket but some of our batters were out to poor shots eg Elgar - 10 runs for the whole match. Top until next weekend, be great if Surrey lose.
