I’ll save you the time. The war, 1978 FA Cup, Lee Steele at Oxford, play off final, Bechetti and NL Champions.

Really enjoyed this
I learnt about Homerton College in Cambridge, and loads of memories. I still have a bit of the red carpet from the supporters club from the south/east stand. Reminded me of the Springhill supporters club
Could go on and on - Thank you

Thanks Andy i had heard the first two parts previously but not the complete edition, which i will catch up on. Found it interesting and informative with the knowledge of Steve Jenkins a pleasure to listen too.
Probably helps that i grew up in Clapton E5 opposite the stadium and then lived in a house in Millfields road. Knew all the historical places and locations mentioned and my imagination went back to the days of Clapton Orient.
Keep up the good work you provide a great service to all O's supporters.

Cheers Ackney,
The whole group have and are working hard to keep the shows going since March, we've had a great deal of help from quite a few people, Dave Victor was immense with The Orient Hour Extra Shows we did, interviewing ex players etc during the main lockdown period when we were off air, and Luke and Danny at the club have been very supportive, plus of course the whole presenting team coming up with ideas for the show to keep it going, but more importantly going and still interesting.
Steve Jenkins and Dave Victor did a great job with the History Of The Os and now we've left it for fans to listen to, in its entirety at their leisure.
Planning ahead to when we haven't got such stringent controls in force with regard to number of people allowed in the studio, we are looking for a couple of fans who fall into the 18-30 age group to take part in several shows during the coming season. If you are interested you can PM me on here or DM @theorienthour. Many Thanks.

What a brilliant, entertaining overview of our proud history; not least the heroes that make us proud to be Leyton Orient Supporters to this day.

Not everyone's cup of tea perhaps but for many of us, we recognise that in all walks of life, we truly are "standing on the shoulders of Giants". In today's throwaway society, I think it is so important to both protect and record these fascinating details.

As a Speedway supporter also, it was fascinating to hear of the link with Lea Bridge (and also the mention of Barrow):

With grateful thanks to Steve, Dave and yourself Andy, for uploading the series into one superb broadcast.

Thanks Nuneaton, much appreciated. As you say its not going to interest everyone, but the feedback we got was very good indeed with regard to this particular article.

Not really, our cast is still alive, there is no ship and we don't have a memorable theme tune.

The Onedin Line would have been in competition with the Orient Shipping Line - now P&O, who the O's approached a number of years ago as regards sponsorship. I wonder if the Club has considered re-contacting?

I doubt it .

I asked the Chief exec of P&O at the time if they would ever get involved with Orient .

No they wont .
Anything with Orient in the name detracted from there company.

With the cruise industry in financial problems due to Covid I would doubt P&O would want to be involved. I do believe they are all part of Carnival the American cruise company now. Perhaps NT or KT know someone at Carnival? I wouldn't hold your breath for P&O, they've been asked on several occasions.

I really enjoyed this and would like to thank all involved but for me the most tantalising bit was when Dulcet Dave mentioned that he was banned from Buckingham palace but went on to say that was a story for another time!
