They tried to get him from MK Dons when went to Gillingham.
This place will implode if he doesn't sign for us.

You think he rents?PoliticOs wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 1:32 am Not particularly. He has only lived in this country for 3 years so I doubt he is overly rooted down, he is probably about to sign his last or second to last long contract. If we offer £1500 per week for 2 years and Cheltenham offer the same with a 2 bed house being £750quid there, then that is a huge disparity to what it would cost to live here. Might be able to save himself £20k in rent over the contract. It's worth thinking about when you're 29 and in a career that ends by 36.
That being said, I think he is on his way here.
Reportedly we are about to sign Anthony WordsworthDisoriented wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 7:59 am Cheltenham is a nice place to live though. Maybe he prefers a desirable location, much like Ebou did at Ebbsfleet.
We have tried to sign him before. Always thought of him as an attacking midfielder with a goal in him.DuvB wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 8:45 amReportedly we are about to sign Anthony WordsworthDisoriented wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 7:59 am Cheltenham is a nice place to live though. ex-AFC Wimbledon who is a defensive midfielder. Of course it could just be another wild rumour from one of dubious transfer sites.
It says they have made an offer, but for all we know he may not be interested. As a player he cant be blamed for weighing up his options, I hope he ends up here but Bolton are a big club and they'll be doing all they can to secure an instant return to League One, signing Doyle was a statement of intent and Ian Evatt has gone there as manager after getting Barrow promotedRedO wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 7:57 amYou think he rents?PoliticOs wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 1:32 am Not particularly. I agree with others - the fact he’s even looking at the likes of cheltenham tells you how much he wants to be here.
The general feeling on here is Edou chose Ebbsfleet because of money and he lived nearby. I can’t see what Cheltenham can offer Cisse that we couldn’tDisoriented wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 7:59 am Cheltenham is a nice place to live though. Ebou went to ebbsfleet for less money. He said so. It was the behind the scenes stuff that put him off coming here.
Never understood that comment when almost evry other player that signs says its a great dressing room to be in and a good club to be at. Still whatever the real reason it was a bad decison, missed out a champions medal and was left out of Ebbsfleet team on several occasions.RedO wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 10:08 amFfs.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 9:26 amThe general feeling on here is Edou chose Ebbsfleet because of money and he lived nearby. He was benched when fit on more than one occasion, I suspect it was partly to ensure he didn't get a bonus set on his appearances per season, it was a bad move and showed lack of ambition.Disoriented wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 12:02 pmInjured players are often left out of a team.Top of the JES wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 10:24 amNever understood that comment when almost evry other player that signs says its a great dressing room to be in and a good club to be at.
