Evening All.

My BT broadband contract is about to expire. Just done a search and I can get comparable speeds with Plusnet and save some money to boot on line rental and call plans, anyone on here with them? They boast about their customer service but always like to get some first hand feedback.

Cheers.

I was with them for 10 days, the router didn't work and they could only send me an engineer during normal working hours so let me cancel my contract after 3 calls and escalating

Internet: 0/10

Customer service 8/10

Plus net is BT. Never been with them, but by all accounts they are very good. My father in law speaks highly of them and for a fraction of the price BT were charging him

Cheers Thor, I can save £250 a year switching from BT but they need to be reliable.

The ISP really doesn't make much difference for reliability. They might throttle the lines or have more on so speeds may be slower, but hardware defines the reliability which will be the same regardless.

Only consider Virgin media if you have a barge pole of very considerable length.

I’m sure plusnet don’t throttle the service either.

I’m with virgin and at times I could just explode.
