£500 vouchers
Cant see it happening, but what would you spend yours on?
I'd probably get a new Dyson and a PSVR.

Don't try it, you do not want to be one of those embarrassing hospital admissions.Prestige Worldwide wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 3:17 pm Cant see it happening, but what would you spend yours on?

Would go towards (another) Technics 1210 for me. So that I could continue to perpetuate the delusion that I am some kind of cool House DJ in waiting, when in fact nothing could be further from the truth.

at Corbyn because of free Wi-Fi ,

FREE MONEY ?
What a Joke they said.

Re: £500 vouchers
I will probably put it towards a new deck. Not a DJ one. I was going to get a new one with a £500 budget, but if this comes through, I'll spend a grand. Anyone got any recommendations ?Scuba Diver wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 4:08 pm Would go towards (another) Technics 1210 for me. Re: £500 vouchers
Haircut.
But in all seriousness, if it does happen isn't it a voucher based thing on High Street retail. Basically to get us out and about and spending.
I said I'd take mine, my wife's and the two kids (£250 each?) down a travel agent and bung it towards an all-inclusive somewhere. My wife said this wouldn't be allowed as the cash is meant to stay in this country and went off about it not being used for holidays.
Could well be wrong though as it's my wife we're talking about.

Maybe not what you had in mind, and no doubt others can give other options, but I would recommend the 1210, even if you don't wish for a DJ turntable.mildandbitter wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 7:27 pmI will probably put it towards a new deck. Bear in mind, if you buy a Rega (which is very popular with good reason), you will need to remove the platters to change speeds etc.
For me the Technics offers phenomenal build (it will last you a lifetime): great bass sound, and has great timing via a reliable motor. I use mine not only to play dance music, but all types from jazz to grunge and back again, and it delivers alway. It is regarded such as it for a reason imo.

Re: £500 vouchers
If and when the financial reset comes your gonna be so happy its untrue. Giving money away seems to show they are heading that way.
The FED is now under control of the treasury, possible another sign it will happen. Everyone can freeze their debts right now. Foreign government debt has been frozen especially for all the poorer nations. Another indicator maybe?
Possible indication in this report from the IMF

Maybe we can finally get the society we all want and that IMF report certainly talks in that respect.
Good times are coming, I do believe that.

"The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development [OECD] has said that the UK economy is likely to recede by 11.5 per cent in 2020 due to Covid-19, a slightly worse prognosis than that which is expected for other major economies such as Germany, France, Spain and Italy".Thor wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 8:10 pmIf and when the financial reset comes your gonna be so happy its untrue. Yeah tuffers it's not been announced yet. Just some pointers which seem to suggest it may well happen.
