Except for mine Andy, as I did not post any this time.

Blimey, I knew he was from oop north but wasn't expecting him to sound as northern as he is.

Totally disagree with Macclesfield situation, but good interview with Mr. Tate.

Thanks Bergen. Glad you enjoyed the interview and it is your democratic right to disagree with anything we say.

the Blackpool game seems like yesterday
went by train and for some reason ended up at euston instead of paddington - quick cab and all was well
one of the guys brought an old suitcase full of beers , and left the empty case at cardiff
Big disappointment was Griffiths not playing, rumour was he had a disagreement with taylor and was dropped - massive blow for us
At least we give it go, unlike a couple of years earlier, and will always remember Chris Tates 3 yard screamer, and then he fell over !
A genuine bloke who always had time to talk to supporters especially the younger os
Journey home was bloody awful in silent queue, and next to us was joyous singing flag waving tangerines
Only a couple of tears ago marched with the same supporters from the birkbeck down Leyton high street when we both had clowns in charge
Thanks for the memories Andy

Thanks KC. Chris is a top lad.
We will be running Dave Victor and Steve Jenkins history of the Os over the next 3 shows, but we shall then continue to include an ex player in interview as often as possible until we get some actual footy to talk about.

Good listen as per usual.

Glad to hear he's found a career he enjoys after football too

Griff was sent off against Mansfield and was given a four match ban.

Chris Tate came accross as someone who enjoyed his time at the O's and rated Tommy Taylor as a manager. Painter and decorator now.

Griff was suspended wasn't he?
Surely that was his sending off for punching the Mansfield left back off the ball - I was there

So much for this "rumour" then, which can't even have been a rumour because every Orient fan at the time would have known he was suspended.

Never saw him give less than 100% for the club - a quality that always wins over the fans. Good luck in the future Chris.

So I was the only person in the ground and to this day believed that he had a row with Taylor was banned from playing r u sure !
4 match ban for a full back that walked into his fist - cannot believe this
all these years i have blamed Taylor and its the Mansfield full back thats to blame
I still cannot believe this
I still believe it was a rumour, one of the best strikers the os have had
