Trains and Boats and Planes (and Buses!)

Post by slacker »

They don’t make ‘em like they used to. Look at those wings: straight out of Captain Scarlet. No wonder so many crashed.

Rather fond of the Class 345 they are using on TFL Rail (Soon to be Elizabeth Line)

The other half of the rolling stock for the line are the Class 315 and your heart kind of drops when one of them pulls around the corner

Elizabeth Line carriage seating poorly designed and very uncomfortable. Bad enough Liverpool Street to Shenfield, so dread to think what it will feel like on a longer journey once Crossrail is fully open.

I wasn’t making a comparison, just my opinion of the new rolling stock.

We’ve got some proper train spotters on this thread! I’m gonna post possibly one of the greatest planes ever and arguably the worst mistake a government took in getting rid of them.

Concorde was the best civilian plane. A big personal regret that I never took one of those weekend afternoon sight seeing flights on it.

RAF Osprey (airplane) seen flying over deepest, darkest Suffolk to/from the direction of the North Sea and Mildenhall air force base, at least three times today. What's up is someone invading?

Lockdown a year ago coincided with new London Overground trains on my line, so have not had the chance to take one yet
