The WHO recommendation is one metre and most countries do 1 or i.5.

Same here , where we live.

Can't see how anyone would be bothered with the pub until we get a vaccine anyway.

It is unlikely that there will ever be a vaccine. So don't plan your life around the expectations that there will be.

When IDS has been pleading for this, he has been introduced as Former Conservative Leader IDS. Should be introduced as Worst Ever Conservative Leader. ( that should be his true title- although Boris having a good go at knocking him off that spot )

I always found two-foot rules a bit unwieldy, especially getting in and out of doorways.

The problem is that there isn't a 2 metre RULE,according to Sir Patrick Vallance in the papers this morning it is only guidance not a rule.
