Nah, the ground staff had to paint the lanes so that they are 3 metres in width anyway so as to accommodate the girth of BIGRON and the width of the flowing kilts and wobbling claymores.

No false starts and an early break from both BIGRON and tuffers#1 (the later opening his legs and showing his class from the off). An uncustomarily poor start from i8uButler whilst the rest are bunched.

As we enter the final third BIGRON looking very comfortable despite abandoning his diet in pursuit of the win your weight in beer prize beijing offered by the Club to all those generous enough to write off the remainder of their 2019/20 season ticket. tuffers#1 has fallen back slightly whilst Banqo and Thor have put in a comeback.

Heat 1 results (first 4 positions listed only). Amazingly we have a dead heat between tuffers#1 and Banqo whilst Thor snuck over by a short head. BIGRON, easing down at the end with a pint in each hand comfortably makes the Semi’s. The rest of the competitors will have to await their fate. No drugs detected, you’re all getting good at hiding this boys…….
100 metre champion tuffers#1 qualifies as does the much fancied and admired BIGRON who had a disappointing outing in the 100.

No false starts again (good job I’m not in this I’m the only bu**er who has ever had one so far) Disoriented and Adz take an early lead in the first third of the race. Admin away slowly as is Constanza.

As we enter the final third Adz is almost walking now he’s so far ahead. Constanza has put in a burst (was that an entry for the chocolate BandOff?) Very tight elsewhere between Eliotnes and Disoriented.

Heat 2 results (first 4 positions listed only). Adz could have jogged the last 10 backwards his lead was so impressive. A well deserved second for Eliotnes with Constanza (not bad for a javelin thrower) and Disoriented also qualifying. Await your fate the rest of you.

With a third to go they are both still behind but Javelin star Dunners is making a push. Celtient still in contention but he seems to be running out of puff and has a much reduced lead.
