Re: Calming blankets
Didn't really get to see the blanket - completely distracted by the two pillows.

Re: Calming blankets
Yes I have one which I use on the bed. I got it off Amazon as a gift for the missus. It's a bit like one of those extra blankets you get at the end of your bed in a hotel. You basically can't move with it on, although I did buy a heavier one than recommended as I was worried the effect wouldn't be noticeable. I wouldn't say I find it calming but it does make provide an extra level of comfort. Not using it in this heat.

Re: Calming blankets
Got one 18 months ago to help with insomnia, didn't work for me unfortunately also as PW said not something you would use in hotter weather.

Available for pets too, a tight fitting coat. My dog gets stressed, separation anxiety, when we go away, got one for her when away for 3 weeks even though being looked after in her own house.
A combination of this an a natural Herbal calming medication worked very well.

Re: Calming blankets
Was heading for Thor's fascinating thread on small garden birds to report my sighting of a pair of Great Tits. Clicked on this thread by mistake. Suddenly my sighting seems insignificant..

Re: Calming blankets
Blimey, we need one of these at the moment, because we are having a kitchen extension being built and the TVs re-sited
and the whole house is packed into one room. I'm beginning to think I wish we had never started it.

I think you’re referring to a straight jacket.Prestige Worldwide wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 9:34 pm Yes I have one which I use on the bed. I got it off Amazon as a gift for the missus. Re: Calming blankets
May buy one as comfort should we be down few goals at home. Better than a Luke warm Bovril at the kiosk.
