I can imagine this report will contain hugely sensitive information, but it needed to be done and it’s results need publishing and available for discussion as soon as possible.

Once again, a myriad of false promises, missed deadlines and sheer incompetence being demonstrated by this pathetic Tory Govt.
They now say it has been delayed further because it is in "close proximity to the current situation in America" and it would be a "bad combination" if it was released amid global outrage over the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
Is this also the reason why the Russia Report is delayed in release?
Perhaps it's also the reason the the Covid-19 App. isn't working?
How much longer can this bunch of dangerous lunatics keep lying to the British People and have them 'believe' they're doing a good job?

Quite right too.
It’s irritating that this has been delayed. We can all guess at some of the issues it will raise and why some sectors seem to have been more susceptible. Personally I would have liked the review to have a much wider scope than the one I understand it to be focused on. But it’s a start so no complaints.
It’s easy to understand why some of these likely issues may align with the current protests and why publication now could simply fan the flames.
Difficult to criticise the Government for incompetence when it was the Government who commissioned the report in the first place. Had they not done so, incompetence would have been very justified. They just need to get on with it.

Findings seem flawed- doesnt take into account weight or underlying illness.

Not seen any details yet but if it fails to take into account weight and underlying issues it cannot be that comprehensive.

Hopefully it will take into account home living dynamics differentials, or propensity to live in densely populated areas.

Could this sort of thing, be a factor, or am I just being racist?
One thing though; if we don't see a second spike by the end of this month after the crowds at beaches, parties and protests of the last week or so then I would say that we can safely start returning to how we were.

I have seen plenty of groups of white youths around during lockdown.

Just hope none of them are going back to households with vulnerable people.

Prestige Worldwide obviously did not read the link before putting in his 3 pennyworth. I haven't seen many groups of 500 white youths in the past couple of months. 6 or 7 at the most. And they ain't exactly law abiding in this area.

Does it say in your link that it was 500 black youths partying?

Clearly not, hence his racist inference.

You literally asked if you were being racist. PW told you that you were, and in my view you are as well. Whether you take that on board, think about why it might be considered racist, is completely up to you. But you have the feedback, stop being defensive.

So when the video evidence proves that a crowd made up predominantly of BAME people are ignoring social distancing and attending a street party, the person that originally stated the fact and asked if this sort of thing could contribute to the number of BAME people contracting COVID is racist? Things you learn on here.

I'd be more concerned with the protesters yesterday. Thousands of people protesting, probably all came on public transport and all congregated together is a potential for a disaster, I'm talking about the virus here and nothing else.
Surely they are not being considerate to others if they are carriers of the viral infection without even knowing it. We still have one of the highest infection rates along with new cases. I just hope that things like this does not expose others to the potential of getting I'll.
