Re: SpaceX
Probably better chance at 10.30. As it's white it's probably to difficult to make out in the daylight. Very impressive.

Re: SpaceX
Only two astronauts on board apparently.
And possibly the Cummings Family stowed away in the cargo hold?
Only they do love to travel long distances.

Re: SpaceX
So, the first stage detaches and then falls back to land on a drone ship.
Video feed cuts out for a couple of seconds and then bingo, it's sitting perfectly in the landing circle. Paging Thor...

Re: SpaceX
International space station flies over just after 10 then followed by Spacex which is obviously on the same trajectory but chasing it down. Think they join up about 9 in the morning.

Re: SpaceX
The impressive take off brought back memories of the slow to get going Saturn V. The rocket shape, spacesuits etc all look very modern and designer. Whatever the rights and wrongs of space travel (and there are many on both sides of the equation) this is one heck of a feat of engineering. Let's hope the rest of the trip goes as smoothly.

Re: SpaceX
If this board has one major failing it is that humour doesn't translate very well . I wouldn't bother trying anymore on here because people here can't take a joke . Oh yeah, the launch . I watched it and it was a perfect take off . Everything went like clockwork .

Re: SpaceX
The International Space Station passed over in the past half hour or so. It should be back over within the next few hours. Higher and faster than a plane. Flying in a East South East direction. Perfect evening to catch a glimpse.

I’ve used this site for years to track the ol’ ISS.
