Seems we've sold 25% more shirts in 2 weeks since the Kane sponsorship was announced than we sold in the whole of last season.

Without wanting to sound all Spen, the article says "over 25 per cent more than they shipped throughout the 2019/20 campaign", so presumably this figure is not the total that we sold as it won't include those that were bought in the club shop. Since it could be a long long time before fans go back to the club it makes sense that online sales are higher.

Great that we've taken orders for so many though. There will also be those who are waiting until nearer the time that the shirt comes into stock before ordering. :off

Possibly another reason is, last season's shirts were terrible. The off centre Chevron, was one of the worst shirts we've ever had IMO

Surprising that if you have a half decent design and not a sh*t rag affiliate pasted across the front, it sells well

Good point that the sponsor affects sales.
I’ve bought a shirt for the first time to support MIND ie the braces, 3rd shirt.
It would be interesting to know which shirt sold the most, but anyway the idea was a master stroke by Danny Macklin.

I know a few who have bought the shirt who are not O's fans
but wanted to donate to the club & the charities.

Yep. Probably gone from the least popular sponsor in living memory to the most popular we're ever likely to have.

Were Dream Team really the least popular? You know that because? Personally I had no issue with dream team and bought 4 shirts in total, one for me others for family. Far better than betting company sponsorship in my opinion.

NEVER BUY THE SCUM!

Let’s see it go out of business 🙏

I understand the feelings of some. But my question was how do we know they were the least popular. And I wonder if the Orient Board feel the same way. Are people suggesting they associated with scum, as described above. Not very complimentary to Travis and Teague.

I think you’ll find that’s my (not T&T) particular view of the rag (it’s an insult to comics to call it a comic) and why I would never purchase anything related.

What T&T think of them is there own business, BUT, in my opinion a very poor decision. To be fair to T&T , one of the very very few poor choices they’ve made since they’ve been at the club.

Hope I’ve cleared that up for you. 👍

Not sure about that, it was one of Sky’s best shows they ever made. Who can ever forget Karl Fletcher or Jaws the psycho keeper? 😉

Dream Team were great for us. Plenty of exposure on social media raising the club's profile. Just a small hardcore group who had issues with it.

Quality of the shirt looks far better too, so glad they've got rid of that awful crest that looked so tacky and low rent.
