Cannae beat a baked bert. (must be unpasteurised bert to work really well).

Tough one, this. Gruyere in a french onion soup is delicious. But wouldn’t bother with it otherwise. Whereas Camembert earns its place on a cheeseboard as well as baked, so it gets the nod.
