That has been their problem all season, hitting posts and having shots cleared off the line are part of a football match. You must be able to score goals to win matches.

Page won’t load. My heart goes out to them, it really does.
They probably won’t be able to see it atm but their defence is outstanding, keep that together and go out and sign 2 quality strikers and they will experience what we have this year.

Re: Wrexham fans forum
Perhaps I should put one of my reverse jonah bets on them that'll sort them out next season.
Already worked on Braintree.Or something like that. Also got a bet on Man City to win the title.Still time for them to cock it up.

Re: Wrexham fans forum
It's a great shame. Wrexham really ought to be in the football league. However, the final table doesn't lie and the plain fact is the team didn't do well enough to get promoted. Even had it been two automatic places they would still have missed out. The play-offs (which I've never liked) gave them a second chance and they've been unable to take it. Football can be very cruel.
I think Wrexham's failure puts our own success into perspective. Clear champions by 3 points.

Yes could well have been us, playoffs are like a cup competition, it's all on the day.

Feared that we would do a wrexham. Good job we beat them at home as they went downhill after that

Re: Wrexham fans forum
They signed Kemy Agustien, who many on the old board seemed to think was a huge upgrade (despite not being able to spell his name). Played just 3 times for them and couldn't do anything to contribute to promotion.

Re: Wrexham fans forum
They will always be a "proper" football club with a pretty decent support, but they seem to be doomed to stay in the National League. Might have a better shot at getting up next season if Salford so up.

Genuinely sad to see them fall short yet again. I had visions of us having to endure a decade or more or non-league, can only imagine how depressed their fans are.
