I started as a Scientific Assistant at The Laboratory of the Government Chemist, checking the alcohol content of many and varied items. Moved to the Quality Control Lab of Glacier Bearings. Then joined the GPO as a Telephone Engineer. Retired after working at BT International. I been retired for 16 glorious years. The Government Chemist was a tremendous place to work. Pity our Scientists are so under valued. Wouldn't be in the poo poo we are today.

Err - Senior Tax Manager, can you no read son.

I had the self employed tax consultancy at first with a couple of large clients and that was enough to be getting on with. One of the clients went bust and so the taxi filled a gap.

I still do tax consultancy which I will continue with after I jack in the taxi next year.

Anything else you want to know Mr Nosey Parker?
