Science Question

During Lockdown I have been drinking Ales rather than my normal Foosties. Things like Banana Bread Beer, Heather Ale, 7 Giraffes, Lundin Pride, etc, anyway youse get the idea.

I am convinced my fingernails grow quicker when I drink ales compared to Foosties.

Are there any scientists experts in this field out there able to help?

Apparently 'biotin' helps with nail growth and it is found in brewers yeast. Is there biotin in your drink? No idea.

I did ask for expert advice not the advice of someone who finishes his contribution with "No Idea".

I knew it was a mistake to ask this Message Board.

None of the Ales have a higher alcohol content than Foosties. Thanks for trying.

I think your nails grow quicker in the springtime than at other times of the year, so the phenomenon you're noticing is co-incidental to your change in ale habits.

Bottles.
There is the problem

Opening tins puts stress on the nails which will weaken them & they break away

Bottles dont have the same problem so will grow far quicker .
