Remember running pitch at last game against Gillingham and then running off as ref had blown whistle for something other than end of game

My brother got married and I missed this game,probably the only home game I missed that season.

Ha, ha. The first game I went to was Man City on May 7th 1966, I was eight years old. But thanks for the compliment AW!

seems like yesterday
The previous Monday we were losing 0-2 to Southport but came back to win 3-2 bullock 2 and lazarus, the noise from the 14000 crowd was unbelievable - start believing
Shrewsbury at home - boom - champions
Picked up the trophy against Gillingham on the Monday night - best forget that one it just did not matter !
Bring on Division 2 with the Leicester, Blackburns, Sheff Utd, QPR, bloody brilliant !!
