My mate was a bus driver on night buses. Geezer tried to get on without an oyster card & my mate said no. Got a bit heated & he got mate in a head lock and pulled him out of driver seat. Another geezer came along & said, "leave him, I'm the ole Bill". Other geezer said " yeah, right". Phone call was made and six ole Bill promptly turned up. Recalcitrant was arrested and spent night in nick and had harsh punishment from Magistrate.

That reminded me of an incident that happened to me . I was 17 at the time and was working at my first job in banking.
It was a hot summers day, but we were not permitted to take off our jackets or remove our ties.
I opened a window by one of those turn handles. A female co worker , dressed in a blouse decided it was cold and wound the window back up. Like in that video, I opened it, and again she shut it, so I opened it and removed the handle.
She went to the manager and complained and he asked me to close it as she was his secretary and he needed her work.
I refused, pointing out that she could put her cardigan on if she was cold. He pleaded, but I refused, with the outcome that they swapped positions, with him sitting behind me and her working in his office. Game, set, and match.

The moral of the tale being that cops don't always tell lies.

Maxine, The manager was a man.
I know it’s difficult for you scots to differentiate as you are prone to wearing ladies skirts.
