RIP Jimmy Goddard

Always at every match, looking resplendent with his long beard, red and white top hat, red coat and rosette, walking cane etc, a real character known by sight to thousands of O's fans over the years, Jimmy passed away following a heart attack. Thoughts with those that knew and loved him the most.

RIP Jimmy - a truly great Orient fan. His eccentric appearance belied the fact that he was an astute and devoted supporter. I too enjoyed chatting with him at away games. What a lovely fella he was.

Very, very sad news.

Sad News (RIP)

He used to sit near to me and we’d sometimes compare beards jokingly - a sad loss and a really true Orient supporter

My thoughts are with his family

Sad news.

Never knew him or spoke to him but I can’t remember a home or away game that I didn’t see him at.

We referred to him as the Orient wizard due to his magnificent beard.

Condolences to his family.
