the O's gave me the best night ever with the goal and celebration
V Peterborough..

Also remember my son waiting post match near the dug outs for
Deano's to sign his match programme as the ground emptied and
the players came out for the warm down Deano invited my son on
the pitch for a kickabout with all the other players a great gesture
from a great person..

One O's Legend in Dave Victor Interviewing another O's Legend Dean Cox, any O's fan would enjoy this.

Deans love for the club shines through, happy to hear he may be coaching the academy players when things return to normal.

There was a time when I turned out for the Red Star Northfield of Peckham in the North Kent League.

We played a team with nine guys called Dean in it. It was very confusing.

I have two questions.

Is Dean a popular name in that part of the world?

What an absolute legend Coxy is. His love for the O's shines through and an insight into his life around the time of the FB era which is very upsetting to hear. How he was treated was an absolute disgrace and massive respect to him for speaking out the facts when asked by FB. They way he had his contract terminated the day after deadline day was despicable and at the time was the pivotal moment, the final straw for me.

I'm sure if he hadn't of left at that point he would still be with us now and would have carried on playing for us, would absolutely love to see him back at the O's in some sort of capacity. At his peak he was a cut above our level and unlike most professional footballers these days didn't go searching for that move higher and just wanted to stay with the O's and it's things like that I will never forget, along with all the great memories Dean provided over the years.

Really want to hear a Russell Slade interview as well discussing those times, we've all heard much of the story but even with Dean's interview there are some new insights into the goings on at our club at that time. A really dark era for us and I'm still so bitter about how the heart of the club was ripped out in such a short space of time.
