Hair cuts
How's everyone coping with the barbers closed?
Growing it out? Letting the other half have a go on it? Taking the clippers to it?
For once the baldies amongst us must be feeling smug

Re: Hair cuts
I managed to get mine cut the weekend before everything closed. It's just reaching the point where I'd ordinarily get it cut. I don't fancy cutting it myself (or letting the wife loose with scissors) so will probably just let it grow. Considering I haven't shaved for 4 weeks I think I'm looking awesome.

I've got a six inch scar down the back of my head which can be covered up by hair usually

Re: Hair cuts
Done mine today avec clippers - did briefly do a bit of light barbering many moons ago but cutting your own is a f@cker of a thing to do. Not 100% chuffed but is passable and still better than Mrs FTC being let loose on it. Especially as being confined with her isn’t exactly marital harmony....

Re: Hair cuts
I have very thick hair and it is nearly 6 weeks since it was last cut, normally I would be going to the barber this week. I don't fancy a DIY job so it may have to wait, I can't think of anything else.

Re: Hair cuts
I also got it done just before lockdown and it's looking rather decent right now. For obvious reasons I'm gonna let it grow, I've stopped putting fibre putty or wax on it and going all natural. It's quite a change.

Re: Hair cuts
Ridiculously hair dressers are still open over here. I'm unaffected as I've been buzzing my hair myself for about the last 15 years. Back in the UK my mum has done a trim on the back of my dads hair the other day.

Re: Hair cuts
I was able to get mine done the morning of 23/3 so just hours before lockdown announced so hopefully it’ll last a while plus I haven’t got a lot of hair left.

Re: Hair cuts
Shaved it all off on Monday. Always wondered what i'd look like with a shaved head and never had the balls to do it.
Slight problem was that i only had a beard trimmer, which ran our of battery half way through.
I'm pretty happy with it. Got a pretty circular head, no balding spots and with a beautiful, I can get away with it

Re: Hair cuts
Anyone experimenting with facial hair?
Douchebag beard? Zapata moustache? Prison kitty? Fu manchu?
I was toying with doing a Hitler/Chaplain toothbrush, but chickened out and shaved.

Re: Hair cuts
I wanted to shave my head but my Mrs wouldn’t let me as she likes my hair too much, so she had a go at cutting it herself with just scissors. Didn’t do a bad job, and didn’t cut it so short that it’ll take ages for any f***-ups to disappear
