Bandoff - Group Results and Round of 16 Draw

Well, well, well. There were some surprises, some clear winners, and only 1 tie-break, and the boarders have spoken. The results of the Group Stages in Band Off, Easter 2020 are as follows:
I shall be making the random draw for the round of 16 ties shortly.

So I was hoping to get a pissed up Rod Stewart to perform the draw, as he did so memorably for the Scottish Cup a few years ago, but social distancing meant it was just easier to get Excel to do the job. Here's the draws:
My, there are some big battles in there. Personally, I hope that The Cure triumph in Tie 3, but that's partly because their opponent's name is too long to fit comfortably on my model.
I shall get the individual polls up in the next short while - voting till tomorrow lunchtime, when we will know who our Quarterfinalists will be

Tie 4 has 0-0 all over it, with a 1-0 penalty shoot out.

Really enjoyed this stillspike, and really well organised
So disappointed that Kc sunshine band are out but gave it a go

Only one of that list were formed less than 40 years ago. This board is frequented by a bunch of dinosaurs.

Once we've finished with bands, we can do biscuits-off, or cheese-off - so there's that to look forward to.

I appreciate the amount of work that has been out into this but I lost the will to continue when I saw the middle of the road crap that is alleged to be ‘better’.
No amount of YouTube links is going to get me to like Elton John etc
