Joy Div and The Cure for me



I played Friday I'm in Love every Friday when taking my kids to school in the car so it has great memories.

I was a full on Ian Curtis depressed teenager but actually prefer New Order, especially the ridiculous lyrics

Another weak group. Chic and The Cure, I guess, but there are better bands heading out of the competition

Whilst the small faces were an excellent band and the cure also, but nirvana defined a generation and a genre of music. How can they not be leading this group? Too many oldies on this board has to be the reason.

Cure and Small faces are beating Joy Division . . . ffs . . .

Weak group?

Joy Division, Nirvana and The Cure.

You mad,

Joy Division defined the era and the grimness of Thatcherism.

The only one of the Groups to require a tie-breaker coin toss as stipulated in "The Rules" was Group H.

The Cure called "Heads" on all 3 tosses, and beat Nirvana 2-1 to go through to the Round of 16

The coin was right.

Oh well never mind
