Anything by Paul Heaton is OK I my book. From the Beautiful South to Housemartins and his recent stuff with Jacqui Abbot, he is a musical legend and an all round good guy. Excellent on Twitter as well.
Depeche Mode are also marvellous especially their rider of Seperate cheese boards for each member. It's what inspired the hit song Personal Cheeses apparently.

How the f*** is Elton John winning this?
Agree with the post above re Paul Heaton and Depeche Mode. Been following the Mode since the Violator album.

The number of records he has sold would suggest he is popular.

Elton is good on the piano but he sucks on the organ.
