Politicians £10k Payment

I'm sorry, but why are they paying themselves an extra £10k? This is wrong on so many levels its unreal.

Pay the doctors and nurses an extra £10k and I'll guarantee 65 million people will support that policy.

Disgusting, unwarranted, unnecessary and a downright scandal.

Agreed, but the point remains about the self serving interests of the ruling elite. The army has been magnificent as usual and they do it without seeking glory or thanks either.

The political elite are making my blood boil with this decision. Its crass at best.

‘They’ are not all the same. Some hardly claim for anything.

Like Jeremy Corbyn who claims the least amount of all.

This annoys me. What annoys me more is that I lost a classmate this week and I'm helpless to do anything about it apart from sending my condolences. Keep the faith all. We will get through this together. Just remember "Come together by Staying Apart".

Wondering if there will be a swing to the left after all this....

I'm not sure. Usually you'd expect a swing from the establishment, but Kier Starmer will struggle to project himself as such.

Probably will be, but not too far to the left. The success of Boris was in part due to Corbyn, now he is history the more moderate Labour supporters will return to their roots.

Not enough maybe for an election win next time round most likely.

The policies of the government are to the left. How much further to the left would you like them to go I wonder?

The policies since the election have been predominantly left of centre policies.
