Just listened to the chat with Danny Carter and i found it really interesting and i am fall of admiration for how he has continued with his career outside of football. It was really sad to hear about his dad passing away with dimentia and that he is now looking after his mum who has dimentia problems as well.
I remember his dad watching Danny at the Orient and as a fellow hackney boy i always wanted him to do well.
Great listening and all my best wishes to Danny and family.

Thanks for your comments. What a really lovely guy Danny is, a real credit to himself and his family. Sad his mum doesn't realise the lengths her son has gone to in looking after her.

I'm moving back to Brentwood this weekend and would like something to listen to beyond BBC Essex

Due to the pandemic we are not broadcasting live shows atm. Once safe to do so we will resume with a weekly live show on Phoenix. In the meantime we will be putting out some Orient Hour Extra Shows.
