Originally planned to be a pre record, situation dictated I broadcast this live, hence a couple of hiccups reading the script and cueing one of the songs

That aside hopefully fans of the late 50s and early 60s music scene will enjoy the story of both singers and a listen to some of their best known and also lesser known songs.

Thanks Bluecap. I enjoyed doing it. When we get back to normal I will hopefully be doing more of these sorts of progs focusing on certain artistes, so many to choose from and I would probably concentrate on the 25 years 57 to 82.

BTW Bluecap, as you may know I've worked with 60s actor/singer John Leyton many times, he told me about your fave Gene Vincent pointing a gun at Jet Harris and threatening to shoot him during a drink fuelled rage and John being pulled by Jet between him and the gun. Not a nice person Mr Vincent by all accounts. But he was certainly very popular with British rockers.
