Re: Boris has the virus
And how is that funny?
I wouldn't wish it on any politician just because I don't agree with their policy.
Grow up people.

Get well soon Boris, and all other people suffering from this horrible illness.

Lucky he was able to get diagnosed and tested so quickly
Maybe the silly sausage will stop shaking hands now?

Re: Boris has the virus
It's more of a comment about him as a person, a really horrible, entitled piece of crap type of person. Somebody whose policies and abysmal decisions may well have sentenced many thousands of people to die. Nobody's wished Boris dead so I think you're over-reacting somewhat.Andy Gilson wrote: ↑Fri Mar 27, 2020 11:38 am And how is that funny?

Thor is right. These are dark times and now is not the moment for any light-hearted or whimsical comments.

Re: Boris has the virus
Trouble is Andy, Boris is not a likeable person, I don’t much like him either, but overall in this crisis he is coming across OK.Andy Gilson wrote: ↑Fri Mar 27, 2020 11:38 am And how is that funny?

But some people on here will continue to slate him no matter what he does because he gave Corbyn and Labour a damn good thrashing. Be like me and just smile at all the sour grapes thrown in his direction. Tantrums of the defeated.
I, like you, would not wish harm on any politician. Even those whose politics I disagree with.

Re: Boris has the virus
It's a bit odd that. You'd imagine that they'd test everyone in number 10, not just the PM.
It's not going to look good if we hear he also has it, and he immediately legged it off somewhere coming into contact with goodness knows who.

Re: Boris has the virus
Wow, my bullshit detector just went off the scale. Maybe, to your petty little mind criticism of Boris is sour grapes. That's utter bollocks of course as the fully justified criticism he's getting is because he's failed to respond to the crisis quickly enough (failed to prepare and provide protective gear for NHS staff - lack of testing kits), then made some abysmal decisions initially (herd immunity approach which stopped us going into lockdown early enough to prevent the spread) and even now is still demonstrating what a useless turd he is. So, NO, it's nothing to do with the election. Sorry. I know that is a simple premise that you'd love to believe, but it's wrong. You're wrong. Again.Redline wrote: ↑Fri Mar 27, 2020 2:03 pmTrouble is Andy, Boris is not a likeable person, I don’t much like him either, but overall in this crisis he is coming across OK.Andy Gilson wrote: ↑Fri Mar 27, 2020 11:38 am And how is that funny?

Re: Boris has the virus
Bonio, what do you think politicians have a magic wand. Do you really think they can suddenly conjure up millions of testing kits for a virus which didn’t pre exist , or suddenly acquire tens of millions of aprons , masks and ventilators.
He is doing a fantastic job in removing the financial burden imposed on not just the employed but the self employed , and making a serious attempt to alleviate rough sleeping.
O.k. So it took a life threatening virus to bring about many of these long overdue actions, but this epidemic has given us all a kick up the arse. Perhaps as a society when all is done we will re evaluate our priorities and ask ourselves if it is morally right that footballers, top boxers, golfers , musicians, and even executives earn millions while nhs workers ect earn a pittance.

Re: Boris has the virus
He didn't need a magic wand to react by the end of Jan and start to prepare. He deserves all the criticism he's getting for screwing that up as our NHS staff are now working without the protective gear they should have. That was almost criminal. Maybe you should ask some NHS staff if they agree with you about how he's doing a fantastic job. I'd put some protective gear on first - oh crap, there isn't any.........Redcard wrote: ↑Fri Mar 27, 2020 3:30 pm Bonio, what do you think politicians have a magic wand.
