Upside of this biological crisis

Post by Clive Evans »

I know that this is trite, really there is nothing positive about being locked up in your own home and deaths growing exponentially. But there are one or two silver linings. For me it will be an absence of Eastenders etc and kids screaming outside my house on sunny days, just as I was having a nice nap. Anyone else enjoying the struggle to get vittles and avoiding a premature demise?

Had a number of young adults playing Frisbee outside my window this afternoon
on the shared green space.
I opened the windows & coughed rather loudly .

Sometimes just sometimes, being a smoker has its advantages .

Peace & Quiet reigned again.

It certainly has helped the planet breath. I saw a satellite image of China a few weeks back compared to months earlier and there was no smog.

The fish have come back into Venice.

During the whole Brexit thing, the country split in two, and there was great animosity between the two sides.
All of a sudden, this Covid-19 pandemic appears, and we are all pulling together again ( well most of us).
Its almost as if this was the antidote to the Brexit nastiness
I hope when this is over, we all stay together, and dont go back to the former diverseness

Somewhere I read that fishing is banned. That should help the ecology of the ponds, lakes and rivers. Though not so good for the frog and newt spawn
