So what's the best madcap theory you've heard on the world wide web?

My two:

China caused the virus outbreak to take attention off their 5G/Huawei bid

Bill Gates created the virus to boost Netflix (and a particularly the pandemic TV show) ratings. Once they've massively upped their subscribers he'll release the antidote

There is no actual virus. All the health problems that we're seeing are caused by the roll-out of the 5G network. Some demented fools have also cross mapped the spread of these so-called-virus-cases against the map and the 5G roll-out and have seen that they correlate (proving that big towns with lots of people have lots of people in - and are also prioritised for 5G roll-out rather than areas with nobody in)

I heard that the Chinese government secretly developed the virus as a bio weapon that specifically targeted the old and weak, rather than men of military age. That way nobody would suspect them of anything.

A self administered cure is to stab a sharp pencil in your left eye. I have attempted to see if Trump will try it because as he had said for other methods, "It might work, we don't know, nobody knows, its worth trying"

I've heard it is the Bildeberg Groups answer to try and reset capitalism and the plan was agreed at their last secret meeting in a secret location somwhere secret.
