Stay in if you can Ron. There are people on here all hours of the day for a chat.

Yes Ron.Must admit I don't want to go to work.Never wanted to half the time anyway but going to work without this would be much better.Stay off of public transport if you can.
The idiocy I saw yesterday of people out and about as if everything was okay as I was cycling home from work.Still geuss I'm not really surprised.
Going to see how it goes for my next step but I may pull the plug on work

I'm self isolating but the wife is having to pop out to get essentials and pay the bills , she's obviously being careful whilst she's out and washing her hands as soon as she gets in , i can't believe a pal of mine invited me and 4 others round his flat tomorrow for beers and a game of cards , he must be fooking mad ☹

I went to get a paper this morning and it was really eerie, very few people about and it really brought home to me the reality of the situation. It is scary, a bit like a sci fi movie. If you have underlying health conditions stay indoors.

Just stay in doors if you can.

Ron & Tuffers,
Not sure if this will be applicable to you as I don’t know your age or where you actually live but here’s some info from Waltham Forest council which might be helpful for you

I'm more scared of my Mum getting infected, TBH. She has COPD and is in the at-risk age group.
As for me, I've just received a text from NHS Coronavirus Service. Due to medication I'm taking, which supresses my immune system, I'm on the at-risk list of severe illness too (despite my incredibly young age). I've been told to stay in for the next 12 weeks.
This is going to be tough.

My food bank allowance has been used up .
Im under 70 so tough titties for me .
Ill find a borrows off of someone im sure ,
Just dont want to put anyone at risk by coming
into contact with them.
Wouldnt bother me in the slightest asking in normal
Circumstances.
Keep the pecker up Ron .
People are recovering from all of this as well.

Technically i have been evicted on the 6th of feb
Just no one has come around to see yet & im still here.
More a case of where to get food from with 65pence for a fortnight.
Times like this i wonder if looking after my mum
was the right thing to do, purely form a selfish point of view.

Ive also got underlying health issues, and im very scared of this.
Doing the usual sensible things, like staying in most days, but have to go to shops to get odd things ( thats if the shelves havent been stipped by selfish greedy people)
No using public transport, not mixing with friends and family, and washing my hands 50 times a day. My skin is so dry, its painful.
Going to need luck as well

If you have a wife use her hand cream, it will put back some of the stuff the soap is ripping out your hands. Do it a few times a day and it will reverse the issue pretty quickly. If not then get yourself some moisturiser it will do the same thing.
Hope it helps you.

Incredibly scary. I'm in my mid seventies and reasonably fit, but I'm guessing fitness doesn't mean a thing now.
Just keep safe everybody, listen to what the government advises and we will all get out of this nightmare. God willing.

It's frightening. I'm in my 60s with what they term underlying health issues, so not left the house other to walk the dog at 20:30 at night for the last couple of weeks. It makes you realise how much we take for granted.
I hope everyone on this board remains well and that the pandemic will pass (in weeks rather than months ) and perhaps sometime in June we can start to see our beloved Os in action again.

Any chemist anyone goes to buy a tub of
Aqueous cream .
Less than a £5iver & is available free if your on benefit.
I use it for my chronic skin condition & will be better than anything branded on
The shelves as a moisturiser.

I know I can't just bottle going into work if the job I do helps the NHS Staff ,Police and other more important key workers.
I was trying to acknowledge the fact I'm not invincible but the previous post may class me as a coward when I can actually assist more important people whilst doing my job.

Why a coward HMM
Everyone has the right to be scared shitless of whats going on at the moment.
No cowardice involved & anyone who may think that is a c*nt of the highest order. Anybody doing anything to keep people fed & healthy or helping those that do whilst this goes on in my opinion is going beyond the pale for those who cant.
