Good luck to Craig Clay and A.N.Other tomorrow. If Jobi's still injured and Lawless unfit, will it be Lee, Gorman or Dayton who gets the nod?

Is there any particular reason we can't start with the midfield which played the second half on Tuesday?

As makeshift as it was, it played a part in a valuable 3 points.

So that's Clay and Dayton. Yep, that could work. Depends how physical Sutton's central pair are.

Sorry, I missed that you'd mentioned Dayton in your previous post.

Not an ideal scenario but Gorman or Lee in there getting smashed about by Sutton has "And Orient go a goal behind early on" written all over it.

It's between Lee or Gorman and both not up to it. I can't choose,i just hope Jobi is back. Should have brought in another central midfielder when we had the chance.

Somebody needs to nail a couple of their horrible midfielders early doors.

I was at the home game against this mob and they like to mix it and niggle.

I dont think that JE has been using midfield in recent months to be honest. Yes he got manager of the month for March so he must have something rite. The football overall has been pretty poor. It was strange not to have central midfield cover on Tuesday night and we got away with it. Its been all more direct stuff and that has affected some of the other players performances ie Bonne etc. I imagine that Gorman plays too much football (or the moaners on here will say can't play football) for this league. Its a matter of getting to the finish line now. We are in a great position so lets get behind the team. We would have bitten your hand off at the start of the season if going into the last 4 games we would be top. Orient probably should have had the league sown up many weeks ago but sure then were would the fun in that be.

Is Gorman injured? Wasn't on the bench Tuesday.

Or has Edinburgh decided that he literally brings nothing to the table.

Would rather see Gorman appear than Lee. At least he offers a forward pass.

Get Marv in there, mobile and physical enough in my book.

Pray Jobi will be back, otherwise it will be Lee.

In my personal experience praying is for simple minded people. Is there any evidence that it works and selfishly gets you what you want to the detriment of others. I seriously doubt it.

Yeah, and puts it straight out of play.

More Norman Wisdom than Norman Hunter

Despite my harsh comment about dear old Dale, I hope he has a great game today

The game will not be won in centre midfield today, Sutton bypass it and lump it so it won't be that important. What's important is stopping the long ball and or winning the ball once its gone lone, that's what's important. So the main roles here today will be the centre halves winning the ball and the centre forwards pressing the defenders down quickly. The worry is they will know Ling is our weak link and will look to expose him and play through their left hand side.

I believe we've got enough in our locker to win this and the fight we've shown this past couple of games will bode well for us today.

Hmm, so it turned out to be all three...

OK, on to Harrogate and Craig Clay plus A. N. Other. How important has Clay turned out to be for us? Steve Castle-esque (without the goals, of course)

If Jobi is still unfit, I'd still opt for Lee as he has more experience than Gorman of playing central midfield, plus he has a decent throw which can cause danger and he's also our vice captain.

Clay was limping around a lot for the last 20 mins after yet another Sutton clattering. Hopefully he is ok for Harrogate.

Clay was immense today but did take a few hard tackles. One he pulled up on straight away. He'll be alright though, he's a warrior.

I bet there were a lot of O’s fans praying in the away end at about 4:55 yesterday.

After a slow start he has grown into a key player. Thank goodness too.
