As has been requested elsewhere this thread has been revived.
Please try and do your best not to turn this into a point scoring argumentative turd-fest (hello Huxley / Lucky 7) and use it to offer help and advice to each other over the coming weeks and months.
Peace and love.

Just for once, wouldn't it be nice if this very sensible post was treated with some respect. We should all offer help if possible and time wasters who ignore the request of Admin should be banished from this board.
Most people treat the current crisis very seriously and some parts of our society do need help and support, but for some boarders they just can't resist the temptation to think they are funny or clever.
Grow up, though I imagine these are the same people who stuff their trolleys full and ignore advice re social distancing.

Haven’t seen any messages from Sid Bishop for a while. I hope this stalwart of the board is okay.

You did know the 1st incarnation of this thread got locked becuase someone got a bit tetchy & then everyone else piled in .
So the attempted humour was to try & keep it light hearted.

Within the next 36 hours I’m going to be flying home from Australia. 16 hour flight and crowded at both ends. As someone in the at-risk category I don’t mind admitting it scares me. Struggling to see anything humorous in the situation.
Of course assuming flights not cancelled.

Indeed. Posts have been deleted from this thread that now make the comments made (and yes I was one of them) out of context.

Our neighbors last night posted a letter through our door saying as we're all in this together suggested helping each other with shopping, then said they didn't have any pasta, we collected some pasta, toilet rolls baby wipes, baby wash, as they have an 18 month baby, They are both teachers, I'm 70 dragon is 65, seems like something gone wrong somewhere

It would be nice if you post some good clean jokes on here or funny items from YouTube. Let’s have a few people laughing while isolating

Did you actually help them out or simply sneer at their problems?
