Loanee's

Post by LittleMate »

This virus is not a 3 week thing. Current advice coming from the government appears to be that it will peak in mid-June.

So what happens to these loan players? Can we (and other clubs) send them back? I presume their loan period runs out on a specific date which means we will not get full value out of them. Some clubs don't want them back (I doubt Marsh is wanted at Spurs). Some players (again like Marsh) will know this and they are out of contract at the end of the season (I think contracts usually run to 30 June). Its a real melting pot.

A contract is a contract and virtually the only way a loan can be cancelled is due to injury. Bad behaviour has a reason to cancel although it’s rare that such a clause is used as most behave themselves and adhere to the clubs code of conduct.

You are probably right, but contracts may have clauses that gives us the ability to send players back given more than just bad behaviour as a reason.
